Rammstein: Sehnsucht

Sehnsucht

On August 25, 1997,”Motor Music” label released “Sehnsucht”  the second Rammstein studio album. It was recorded November 1996 – July 1997, at “Temple Studios” in Malta, and was produced by Jacob Hellner, Till Lindermann, Richard Z. Kruspe, Paul Landers, Oliver Riedel and Christoph Schneider . “Sehnsucht” was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”, becoming the only album entirely in German to be certified Platinum in the US.

The Rolling Stones: Tattoo You

Tattoo You

On August 24, 1981, “Rolling Stones” label released “Tattoo You”, the sixteen Rolling Stones (The) album. It was recorded November–December 1972, January–March 1975, January–March 1978, January–October 1979, October 1980 – June 1981, and was produced by The Glimmer Twins. In 1989, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Tattoo You” at number 213 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. Peter Corriston, who was responsible for the album art direction and design, won a “Grammy Award” in the category of “Best Album Package”. The album was certified 4 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada” and 4 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

The album was certified Platinum in Poland by “ZPAV”.

In 2001 “Parachutes” won the “Best British Album” award at the “Brit Awards” and in 2002, it won “Grammy Award” for “Best Alternative Music Album”. In 2006, “NME” magazine raked “Parachutes” at number 33 on its list of the “100 Greatest British Albums”. The album was big commercial success, selling more than 9 million copies worldwide and become the twelve bestselling album in the 21st century in Britain.
