On October 9, 1987, “Columbia” label released “Tunnel of Love”, the eighth Bruce Springsteen studio album.  It was recorded January – July 1987, and was produced by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Landau and Chuck Plotkin. in 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked it at number 467 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On October 5, 1979, “A&M” label released “Reggatta de Blanc”, the second Police (The) studio album. It was recorded February – August 1979, at the “Surrey Sound Studios”, and was produced by Nigel Gray, Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland. In 1980, the title track brought the band their first “Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance”. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Reggata de Blanc” No. 372 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.

On September 23, 1977, “ABC” label released “Aja”, the sixth Steely Dan studio album . It was recorded January – July 1977, at the “Village Recorder” in  West Los Angeles, “Producer’s Workshop” and “Sound Labs”  in Hollywood, “Warner Bros” studios in Burbank, “ABC” studios in New York City,  “A&R” studios in Manhattan, and was produced by Gary Katz.  In July 1978, the album won the “Grammy Award for Best Engineered Non-Classical Recording”. In 2003 “Aja” was ranked number 145 on “Rolling Stone” magazine “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list. The album was certified Platinum in US by the “RIAA”.

It was recorded June -August 1965, at “Columbia Studio A” in New York,  and was produced by Bob Johnston. The album features some of the best known Dylan songs, including “Like a Rolling Stone”, “Ballad of a thin man” and “Highway 61 revisited”. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Highway 61 Revisited” at number four on its list of “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The song “Like a Rolling Stone” is listed number one on “Rolling Stone‍ ’s list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time” list, “Desolation Row” and “Highway 61 Revisited”, were listed at number 187 and number 373 on the same list.

On August 17, 1959, “Columbia” label released “Kind of Blue” album by Miles Davis. It was recorded March 2 and April 22, 1959, at  “Columbia’s 30th Street Studio” in New York City, and was produced by Teo Macero and Irving Townsend. The album 46 minutes of innovations, improvisation and musical excellence has changed not only the face of jazz but the course of modern music. “Kind of Blue” is not only the best selling jazz album of all times (it was certified quadruple platinum in sales by the “Recording Industry Association of America”) and Davis personal masterpiece but is also regarded as one of the most influential albums in the history of modern music ever. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Kind of Blue” at number 12 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.
