On October 2, 1995, “Creation Records” label released “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” the second Oasis studio album. It was recorded March 1995, May–June 1995, at “Rockfield Studios” in Monmouth, Wales, and was produced by Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher. At the 2010 “Brit Awards”, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” was named the greatest British album since 1980. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 378 on its list of the “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. On September 29, 1997, “Hut” label released “Urban Hymns” the third Verve studio album. It was recorded October 1996 – May 1997, at “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by Richard Ashcroft, Nick Mccabe, Simon Tong , Peter Salisbury, Chris Potter and Youth. In 1998, “Urban Hymns”  won “Best British Album” at the “Brit Awards”. In 2001, “Q” magazine readers ranked the album at number 18 in the vote for the “Greatest Albums of All Time”, and in 2006, its editors voted it the 16th greatest album of all time. The Verve were awarded with the first ever “Q Classic Album” award for this album at the 2007 “Q Awards”. As of 2015, “Urban Hymns” was ranked the 18th best-selling album in UK chart history.  The critical and commercial success of the album won The Verve, two “Brit Awards” in 1998, including “Best British Group”. On September 29, 1977, “Family Productions” label released “The Stranger” the fifth Billy Joel studio album. It was recorded July – August 1977, at “A&R Recording, Inc.” in New York City, and was produced by Phil Ramone. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “The Stranger” at number 70 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.  The album became Joel’s critical and commercial breakthrough, and remains his best-selling non-compilation album to date. The album was certified 5 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in Hong Kong by “IFPI Hong Kong”; Platinum in New Zealand by “RMNZ”, and Diamond in the US by “RIIA”.

On September 26, 1969, “Apple Records” label released “Abbey Road” the eleventh Beatles (The) studio album. It was recorded February 22 – August 20, 1969, at “EMI Studios”,  “Olympic Studios”  and  “Trident Studios” in London, and was produced by George Martin. The album recording sessions were the last in which all four Beatles participated. Although “Let It Be” was the final Beatles album before the band’s dissolution in April 1970, most of the album had been recorded before the “Abbey Road” sessions began. The album cover was designed by “Apple Records” creative director Kosh, and It is the only original UK Beatles album sleeve to show neither the artist name nor the album title on its front cover. The cover has become one of the most famous and imitated images in the history of recorded music. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Abbey Road” at number 14 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The album cover art features a photo of the band at the “2 A.M. Club”, a bar located in Mill Valley, California, where the band had performed during its early days. On September 12, 2008, “Warner Bros” label released “Death Magnetic”, the ninth Metallica studio album. It was recorded March 2007 – May 2008, at “Sound City Studios”in Los Angeles; “Shangri La Studios” in Malibu, California; Metallica’s HQ in San Rafael, California, and was produced by Rick Rubin. On the 51st “Grammy Awards” in 2009, Metallica won “Grammy Awards” for “Best Metal Performance” for “My Apocalypse”. Producer Rick Rubin received the award for “Producer of the Year, Non-Classical”, and art directors Bruce Duckworth, David Turner & Sarah Moffat were awarded “Best Recording Package”.” Death Magnetic” was awarded “Best Album in the 2009” at Kerrang! Awards.
