In July 1981, “Chrysalis” label released the self-titled, debut Waterboys (The) album. It was recorded December 1981 – November 1982, at “Redshop Studios” in London, “Farmyard Studios” in Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, and was produced by Mike Scott and Rupert Hine

On July 1, 1983, “Beggars Banquet” label released “Burning from the Inside”, the fourth Bauhaus studio album. It was recorded in1983, and was produced by “Rockfield Studios” in Wales, and was produced by Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins.

Journey: Escape

On July 17, 1981, “Columbia” label released “Escape” (E5C4P3 on the album cover) the seventh Journey studio album. It was recorded April – June at “Fantasy Studios” in Berkeley, California,  and was produced by Mike Stone, Kevin Elson and Steve Perry. In 1988, “Kerrang!” readers voted “Escape” the greatest AOR album of all time. The album was certified 3 x Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”, and 9 x Platinum in US by the “RIIA”.
