On December 8, 1987, “Atlantic” label released “Inside Information”, the sixth Foreigner studio album. It was recorded in 1987, at “Right Track Recording” in New York City.and was produced by Frank Filipetti and Mick Jones. The album was certified Platinum in US by the “RIAA”.

It was recorded June – July 1978, at “Record Plant” in New York City, and was produced by Mike Chapman. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Parallel Lines” at number 140 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. “NME” magazine ranked the album at number 18 on its list of the “100 Best Albums of All Time” and at number 45 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. On September 9, 2004, Ernie Ball died aged 73. He was entrepreneur, musician, and innovator, best known as guitar maker, with successful guitars and accessories business. In the 50’s he opened the first guitar shop in US (in Tarzana, California), and developed guitar strings called “Slinkys”.
