Dan Fogelberg: Nether Lands

In May 1977, “Full Moon” label released “Nether Lands”, the fourth Dan Fogelberg album. It was recorded in 1977, at “Caribou Ranch” in Nederland, Colorado, “The Record Plant” in Los Angeles and Sausalito, “Quadraphonic Sound Studios” in  Nashville and “North Star Studio” in Boulder, Colorado, and was produced by Dan Fogelberg and Norbert Putnam.

It was recorded December 2000-January 2001, at “Cello Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Ric Ocasek The album was certified 2 x Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”, Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”, 2 x Platinum in New Zealand by “RMNZ”, and Platinum in US by the “RIIA”.

It was recorded in 1972, at “The Record Plant” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Benorce Blackmon, Bill Withers, James Gadson, Melvin Dunlap and Ray Jackson. The album includes the single “Lean on Me”, which is number 205 on “Rolling Stone’s” list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time”.

It was recorded in 1972, at “Amigo Studios”, “Western Studios”, “Poppi Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Lenny Waronker and Russ Titelman. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Sail Away” at number 321 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
