On June 3, 2008, “DGC” and “Interscope” labels released self – titled, sixth Weezer album (also known as “Red Album”). It was recorded 2007 – 2008, at “Shangri La Studios”, “Malibu Performing Arts Center” in Malibu, California, “Threshold Studios” in Santa Monica, California, and was produced by Rick Rubin, Jacknife Lee, Brian Bell, Rivers Cuomo, Scott Shriner and Patrick Wilson.

On May 10, 2005, “DGC” label released “Make Believe”, the fifth Weezer studio album. It was recorded February 2002 – February 2005, at “Cello Studios”, “Grandmaster Recorders”, “Henson Studios”, and Rick Rubin’s home studio in Los Angeles, and was produced by Rick Rubin. The album was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.
