In January 1970, “RCA Victor” label released “American Woman”, the sixth Guess Who studio album. It was recorded August – November 1969, at “RCA Mid-America Recording Center, Studio B” in Chicago, and was produced by Jack Richardson.

On January 13, 2013, “Moonjune” label digitally released “Burden of Proof”, the sixth Soft Machine Legacy album. It was recorded in August 2012, at “Beppe Crovella”, “Electromantic Synergy Studio” in San Sabastiano da Po, Italy, and was produced by Theo Travis, John Etheridge, Roy Babbington, and John Marshall.

On January 11, 2005, “High Note” label released “I Remember Brother Ray”, the 34th David “Fathead” Newman album. It was recorded in August 2004, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and was produced by David “Fathead” Newman and Houston Person. The album was paying tribute to his bandleader and mentor Ray Charles.
