R.E.M._-_Document

On September 1, 1987, “I.R.S.” label released “Document”, the fifth R.E.M. studio album. It was recorded April – May 1987, at “Sound Emporium” in Nashville, and was mixed at “Master Control” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Scott Litt, Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe.. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 470 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 1988, “Document” was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

On May 16, 1966, “Columbia” label released “Blonde on Blonde”, the seventh Bob Dylan studio. It was recorded October 5, 1965; November 30, 1965; and January 25, 1966, at “Studio A, Columbia Recording Studios” in New York; February 14–17 and March 8–10, 1966, at “Columbia Studio B” in Nashville, Tennessee, and was produced by Bob Johnston. “Blonde on Blonde” completed Dylan’s trilogy of albums that he recorded in 1965 and 1966 (Bringing It All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited).  In 1974, “NME” magazine ranked “Blonde on Blonde” at number 2 on its list of “The Greatest Albums of All Time”. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 9 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

It was recorded 6 October 1972, 3 December 1972 – 24 January 1973, at “Trident Studios”, London and “RCA Studios” in New York and Nashville, and was produced by Ken Scott and David Bowie. “Rolling Stones” magazine ranked  “Aladdin Sane” at number 277 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”. “Pitchfork Media” ranked the album at number 77 on its list of the top “100 Albums of the 1970s”.
