On July 25, 2020, Peter Allen Greenbaum aka Peter Green died aged 73. He was singer, songwriter, and musician (guitar), member of John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, co-founder of Fleetwood Mac, member of Katmandu, and founder of Peter Green Splinter Group. Green was one of the most important figures of the British blues movement, praised by famous guitarists like B.B. King and Eric Clapton. Magazine “Rolling Stone” ranked him at number 58 in its list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”. Magazine “Guitar Player” rated his tone on “The Super-Natural” as one of the “50 Greatest of All Time. Magazine “Mojo” rated Green In June 1996, Green was voted the third-best guitarist of all time. In 1998, as a member of Fleetwood Mac he was inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”. As leader, Green recorded six albums:

He performed and recorded with Paul McCartney, Lee Dorsey, Robert Palmer, Professor Longhair, and Labelle. Neville received three “Grammy Awards”.
James Oldaker
On July 16, 2020, James Oldaker died aged 68. He was musician (drums, percussions), member of Rogues Five, Bob Seger Band, Leon Russell Band, Frehley’s Comet, and The Tractors, but was best known as the drummer for Eric Clapton. Oldaker recorded with musicians and bands such as The Bellamy Brothers, Asleep at the Wheel, Peter Frampton, The Gap Band, Marcy Levy, Stephen Stills, Leon Russell, Ace Frehley, Freddie King, and The Bee Gees. In August 2005, Oldaker released “Mad Dogs & Okies”, a collection celebrating the music and musicians of Oklahoma, with guest musicians Eric Clapton, Vince Gill, J. J. Cale, Willie Nelson, Ronnie Dunn, and Bonnie Bramlett.

He was musician (bass), member of the “Motown Records” studio band The Funk Brothers, MFSB for “Philadelphia International Records”, and founding member of Scorpion. As a session musician Babbitt recorded for Frank Sinatra, Barry Manilow, Gloria Gaynor, Robert Palmer, Alice Cooper, Gladys Knight & the Pips, The Spinners, Stevie Wonder, Edwin Starr, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, Marvin Gaye, Freda Payne, The Temptations, and The Main Ingredient. “Bass Player” magazine ranked Babbitt at number 59 on its list of the “100 Greatest Bass Players of All Time”.
Arthur Kane Jr.
On July 13, 2004, Arthur Harold Kane Jr. died aged 55. He was musician (guitar, bass), was a member and worked with The Idols, Corpse Grinders, Killer Kane with Blackie Lawless, Sid Vicious, but was best known as a founding member and bass player of The New York Dolls.
