On October 26, 1993, “Columbia” label released “World Gone Wrong”, the twenty-ninth Bob Dylan studio album. It was recorded in 1983, and was produced by Bob Dylan. It was Dylan’s second consecutive collection of only traditional folk songs, performed acoustically with guitar and harmonica. “World Gone Wrong” received “Grammy Award” for “Best Traditional Folk Album”.

On October 25, 1994, “Reprise” label released “Turbulent Indigo”, the fifteenth Joni Mitchell album. It was recorded in 1994, and was produced by Joni Mitchell and Larry Klein. The album won “Grammy Award” for “Pop Album of the Year”.The album takes inspiration from artist Vincent van Gogh, both for Mitchell’s self-portrait on the cover, and the song “Turbulent Indigo”.

On October 6, 1992, “Columbia” label released “Grave Dancers Union”, the sixth Soul Asylum studio album. It was recorded May 1992, at “The Powerstation” and “River Sound” in New York City; “Pachyderm Discs” and  “Cannon Falls” in Minnesota, and “Cherokee Studios” in  Hollywood, and was produced by Michael Beinhorn. The cover illustration is by Czech erotic art photographer Jan Saudek. In 1993, the album song “Runaway Trains” won “Grammy Award” for “Best Rock Song”.

In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Love and Theft” at number 385 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. At the 44th “Annual Grammy Awards”, the album won “Grammy Award” for “Best Contemporary Folk Album”.

In the 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 204 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. In 2007, Dylan won “Grammy Award” for “Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album” for “Modern Times” and the “Grammy Award” for “Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance” for the song “Someday Baby”.

On August 25, 1988, “Elektra” label released “…And Justice for All”, the fourth  Metallica studio album. It was recorded January – May 1988, at “One on One Recording Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by James Hetfield,  Kirk Hammett, Jason Newsted, Lars Ulrich and Flemming Rasmussen. “Kerrang!” magazine listed the album at number 42 on its list of the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time” In 1990, the album single “One” won Metallica its first “Grammy Award” for “Best Metal Performance”.“…And Justice for All” became band’s best-selling album of the time; it was certified 3 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in Finland by “IFPI”; Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”, and 8 x platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

In 1987, “Graceland” won “Grammy Award” for “Album of the Year”. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Graceland” at number 71 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The album earned Paul Simon the “Best International Solo Artist” award at “The Brit Awards” in 1987. It was recorded November–December 1972, January–March 1975, January–March 1978, January–October 1979, October 1980 – June 1981, and was produced by The Glimmer Twins. In 1989, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Tattoo You” at number 213 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. Peter Corriston, who was responsible for the album art direction and design, won a “Grammy Award” in the category of “Best Album Package”. The album was certified 4 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada” and 4 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.
