Ride: Nowhere

On October 15, 1990, “Creation” label released “Nowhere”, the debut Ride studio album. It was recorded in 1990, at “Blackwing Studios” in London, and was produced by Marc Waterman. The album cover photography was by Warren Bolster.“Spin” magazine ranked “Nowhere” at number 277 on its list of “The 300 Best Albums of the Past 30 Years (1985–2014)”.

Depeche Mode: A Broken Frame

On September 27, 1982, “Mute” label released “A Broken Frame” the second Depeche Mode studio album. It was recorded December 1981–July 1982, at “Blackwing Studios” in London, and was produced by Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Daniel Miller. It was featured on the cover of “Life Magazine’s” 1990 edition of “World’s Best Photographs 1980 – 1990”.

Primal Scream: Screamadelica

On September 23, 1991, “Creation Records” label released “Screamadelica”, the third Primal Scream studio album. It was recorded 1990 – 1991, and was produced by The Orb, Hypnotone, Andrew Weatherall, Hugo Nicolson and Jimmy Miller. In 1991, “Melody Maker” and “Select” magazines named “Screamadelica” “Album of the Year”; the album won the first “Mercury Music Prize” in 1992; in 2003,  “NME” magazine placed it at no. 23 in its list of the “100 Best Albums Ever”, and in  2006, the magazine placed it at number 15 in its list of the “Greatest British Albums Ever”; in 2000, “Q” magazine placed “Screamadelica” at number 18 on its list of the “100 Greatest British Albums, and in 2001, the magazine placed it at number 81 on its list of the “Top 100 Albums of All Time”.
