It was recorded November 1990 – May 1991, at “AIR Studios” in London, and was produced by Mark Knopfler and Alan Clark. The album was certified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”; Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in Finland by Musiikkituottajat; Diamond in France by “SNEP”; Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”; 4 x Platinum in Spain by “PROMUSICAE”; 4 x Platinum in Switzerland by “IFPI Switzerland”: 2 x Platinum in UK by the “BPI” and Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

On September 1, 1987, “I.R.S.” label released “Document”, the fifth R.E.M. studio album. It was recorded April – May 1987, at “Sound Emporium” in Nashville, and was mixed at “Master Control” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Scott Litt, Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe.. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 470 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 1988, “Document” was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

In June 2006, “NME” magazine conducted a readers’ poll in which “Definitely Maybe” was voted the greatest album of all time. On August 25, 1997,”Motor Music” label released “Sehnsucht”  the second Rammstein studio album. It was recorded November 1996 – July 1997, at “Temple Studios” in Malta, and was produced by Jacob Hellner, Till Lindermann, Richard Z. Kruspe, Paul Landers, Oliver Riedel and Christoph Schneider . “Sehnsucht” was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”, becoming the only album entirely in German to be certified Platinum in the US.

It was recorded January – May 1988, at “One on One Recording Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by James Hetfield,  Kirk Hammett, Jason Newsted, Lars Ulrich and Flemming Rasmussen. “Kerrang!” magazine listed the album at number 42 on its list of the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time” In 1990, the album single “One” won Metallica its first “Grammy Award” for “Best Metal Performance”.“…And Justice for All” became band’s best-selling album of the time; it was certified 3 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in Finland by “IFPI”; Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”, and 8 x platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.
