On August 27, 1996, “Epic” label released “No Code”, the fourth Pearl Jam studio album. It was recorded July 1995 – May 1996, at “Chicago Recording Company” in Chicago, Illinois; ”Kingsway Studio” in New Orleans,Louisiana, “Studio Litho” in Seattle,Washington, and was produced by Brendan O’Brien and Pearl Jam. The album became the first Pearl Jam album to not reach multi-platinum status, receiving a single platinum certification by the “RIAA” in the US.
