Robert Plant - Dreamland

On July 16, 2002, “Mercury” label released “Dreamland”, the seventh Robert Plant solo album and the first with his band “Strange Sensation”. It was recorded 2001 – 2002, and was produced by Phill Brown and Robert Plant.

On March 15, 1977, “Capitol” label released “Islands”, the seventh Band (The) studio album. It was recorded December 1976 – January 1977, at ”Shangri-la Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson.

On February 25, 1990, “Columbia” label released “Blue Sky Mining”, the seventh Midnight Oil album. It was recorded in 1989, at “Rhino” in Sydney, and was produced by Warne Livesey, Peter Garrett, Bones Hillman, Robert Hirst, Jim Moginie, Martin Rotsey and Warne Livesey . At the “ARIA Music Awards” in 1991, “Blue Sky Mining” won “Best Group”, “Outstanding Achievement Award”, “Best Cover Art”, “Best Video” and “Album of the Year”. The album was awarded 5× Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”.

On November 17, 1980, “Geffen” label released “Double Fantasy”, album by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.  It was the seventh and final studio album released by Lennon in his lifetime, three weeks after its release, Lennon was murdered. The album was recorded from August 7 to September 22, 1980, at the “The Hit Factory” in New York, and was produced by John Lennon, Yoko Ono and Jack Douglas. In 1981, “Double Fantasy” won “Grammy” for “Album of the Year”.

Revolver

On August 5, 1966, “Parlaphone” released “Revolver” the seventh Beatles (The) album. It was recorded April – June 1966, at “EMI Studios” in London, and was produced by George Martin. The album was recognized by critics as having redefined the parameters of popular music. The album’s Grammy Award-winning cover design was created by Klaus Voormann, old band’s friend from their early years in Hamburg. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Revolver” at number three on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
