It was recorded April – October 1989, at “The Farm” in Chiddingfold, Surrey, UK, “A&M Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Phil Collins and Hugh Padgham. On October 12, 1979, “Virgin” label released “Days in Europa”, the second Skids album. It was recorded in 1979, at “Rockfield Studios” in Wales, “The Manor Studios”  in Shipton-on-Cherwell in Oxfordshire, England, and was produced by Bill Nelson. The initial released album was with an Aryan album cover reminiscent of the 1936 Olympics, with Germanic Gothic-style lettering.

It was recorded December 1992 – March 1993, at “Triclops Sound Studios” in Marietta, Georgia, and was produced by Butch Vig and Billy Corgan. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked it number 362 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The album was certified 4 x Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”, and 4 x Platinum in US by “RIAA”.
