Marillion: Holidays in Eden

On June 24, 1991, “EMI” label released “Holidays in Eden”, the sixth Marillion studio album. It was recorded in 1991, at “Hook End Manor” in Oxfordshire, “Westside Studios” in London, and was produced by Christopher Neil.

It was recorded in 1991, at “The Manor Studios” in Oxfordshire and “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by Youth, Steve Chase, Tim Booth, Larry Gott, Jim Glennie, Saul Davies, Mark Hunter, Andy Diagram and Dave Baynton-Power.

On February 12, 2007, “Matty Grooves” label released “Sense of Occasion”, the 24th Fairport Convention studio album. It was recorded in November 2006, at “Woodworm Studios, Oxfordshire, and was produced by Mark Tucker, Tic Sander, Simon Nicol, Gery Conway, Dave Pegg and Chris Leslie.

In December 1988, “Rough Trade” label released “Red & Gold”, the 16th Fairport Convention studio album. It was recorded September to November 1988 at “Woodworm Studios” in Barford St. Michael, Oxfordshire, and was produced by Simon Nicol.

Skids: Days in Europa

On October 12, 1979, “Virgin” label released “Days in Europa”, the second Skids album. It was recorded in 1979, at “Rockfield Studios” in Wales, “The Manor Studios”  in Shipton-on-Cherwell in Oxfordshire, England, and was produced by Bill Nelson. The initial released album was with an Aryan album cover reminiscent of the 1936 Olympics, with Germanic Gothic-style lettering.

It was recorded October 1972–March 1973; February 1971, at “Apple Studios” and “Abbey Road” studios in London; “FPSHOT” in Oxfordshire, and was produced by George Harrison and Phil Spector.

Henry Cow: Legend

In August 1973, “Virgin” label released “Legend”, the debut Henry Cow album. It was recorded May – June 1973, at “Manor” in Oxfordshire, UK, and was produced by Geoff Leigh, Tim Hodgkinson, Fred Frith, John Greaves and Chris Cutler. The album cover art work was by artist Ray Smith and was the first of the three socks to feature on Henry Cow’s albums.

On July 15, 1983, “Mercury” label released “The Crossing”, the debut Big Country studio album. It was recorded in May 1983, at “The Manor” in Oxfordshire, “RAK Studios” in London, and was produced by Steve Lillywhite. In December 1983, “The Crossing” was certified Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”, and in February 1984 it was certified Platinum in UK by the “BPI”.

In July 1972, “Reprise” label released “The Academy in Peril”, the second John cale album. It was recorded in 1972, at “Shipton Manor” in Oxfordshire, “St. Giles Church” in Cripplegate, UK, and was produced by John Cale. The cover concept and art was by Andy Warhol.
