Joe Lovano: 52nd Street Themes

On April 25, 2000, “Blue Note” label released “52nd Street Themes”, the seventeen Joe Lovano album. It was recorded in November 1999, at “Avatar Studio” in New York City, and was produced by Joe Lovano. The album won the “Grammy Award for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album.”

It was recorded November 1995 – February 1996, at “Far Planet Studios” in Los Angeles,”Jai Winding Studios” in Santa Monica, California, “Vintage Recorders,” in Phoenix, Arizona, “Wilkinson Productions” in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, and was produced by Marty Friedman and Steve Fontano.
