It was recorded in May 1993, at “Townhouse III” in London, and was produced by Stuart Staples, David Boulter, Neil Fraser, Dickon Hinchliffe, Mark Colwill, Alistair Macaulay, and Ian Caple. “Melody Maker” magazine named it album of the year in the UK.

It was recorded in March–July 1994, at “Master Rock Studios” in London, and was produced by Ed Buller. In October 2013, “NME” magazine ranked the album at number 31 in its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On October 8, 1971, “United Artists” label released “In Search of Space” the second Hawkwind, studio album. It was recorded in 1971, at “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by George Chkiantz, Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Del Dettmar, Michael davies, Dik Mik, Dave Anderson, and Terry Ollis.  Graphic artist Barney Bubbles titled the album and designed the cover with space-age poet Robert Calvert produced the accompanying 24-page “The Hawkwind Log” with photos by Phil Franks.
