Jimmy Giuffre: Jimmy Giuffre and his Music Men Play the Music Man

In February 1958, “Atlantic” label released “Jimmy Giuffre and his Music Men Play the Music Man” (The Music Man), the fifth Jimmy Giuffre album. It was recorded December 1957 – February 1958, at “Coastal Recording Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Nesuhi Ertegun.

In June 1958, “Riverside” label released “Freedom Suite”, the 16th Sonny Rollins album. It was recorded February – March 1958, at “WOR Recording Studio” in New York City, and was produced by Orin Keepnews and Bill Grauer.

On November 22, 1963, “Parlaphone” label released “With the Beatles”, the second Beatles (The) studio album. It was recorded July – October 1963, at “EMI Studios” in London, and was produced by George Martin. “With the Beatles” was the first Beatles album released in North America. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 420 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
