In December 1970, “Reprise” label released “Desertshore”, the third Nico studio album. It was recorded in 1970, at “Sound Techniques Ltd.” in London, and “Studios Davout” in Paris, and was produced by John Cale and Joe Boyd. The album covers feature stills from the film La cicatrice interieure by Philippe Garrel, which starred Nico, Phillippe Garrel and her son Ari Boulogne.
