On April 19, 1982, “Warner Bros” label released “Big Science”, the debut Laurie Anderson album. Laurie Anderson had previously recorded one side of a 2-LP set titled “You’re the Guy I Want to Share My Money With”, a collaboration released on Giorno Poetry Systems with William S. Burroughs and John Giorno. It was recorded at “You’re the Guy I Want to Share My Money With, and was produced by Laurie Anderson and Roma Baran.

It was recorded 20 December 1976 – 28 January 1977 at “TW Studios” in  Fulham, ”Olympic Studios”  in London, and was produced by Martin Rushen. In 2014, “NME” magazine ranked it at number 196 in its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
