10 cc: The Original Soundtrack

On March 11, 1975, “Mercury” label released “The Original Soundtrack”, the third 10 cc studio album. It was recorded in 1974, at “Strawberry Studios” in Stockport, Cheshire, and was produced by Lol Crème, Eric Stewart, Graham Gouldman and Kevin Godley.

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel: The Best Years Of Our Lives

In March 1975, “EMI” label released “The Best Years of Our Lives”, the third Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel album. It was recorded November-December 1974, and was produced by Alan Parsons and Steve Harley. “The Best Years of Our Lives” was the first album that featured Harley’s name ahead of the band’s name band Cockney Rebel.

In March 1971, “United Artists” label released “Tanz der Lemminge” (Dance of the Lemmings), the third Amon Düül II studio album. In the “Q” and “Mojo” “Classic Special Edition Pink Floyd & The Story of Prog Rock”, the album was ranked at number 36 in its list of “40 Cosmic Rock Albums”.

In March 1969, “MGM” label released the third, self-titled Velvet Underground album. It was recorded November – December 1968, at “T.T.G. Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Lou Reed, Doug Yule, Sterling Morrison and Maureen Tucker. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 314 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
