Shania Twain: The Woman In Me

On February 7, 1995, “Polygram” label released “The Woman in Me”, the second Shania Twain studio album. It was recorded 1994 – 1995, at “Sound Stage Studio”, “Battery Studios”, “Javelina Recording Studios” and Recording Arts” in Nashville, “A.R.P. Track Productions” in St. Anne Des Lacs, Quebec, Canada, and was produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange. In December 2000, the album was certified 12× Platinum by the RIAA in USA. In 2006, “The Woman in Me” was ranked number 8 on CMT’s list of “40 Greatest Albums in Country Music”.

On November 19, 2002, “Mercury Nashville” label released “Up!”, the fourth Shania Twain studio album. It was recorded in 2002, and was produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange and Simon & Diamond Duggal. In 2005, the album was certified 11 x Platinum by “RIAA” in US.

The album was certified 5 x Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”, Platinum in France by “SNEP”, Platinum in Switzerland by “IFPI” and 4 Platinum in US by “RIAA”.

In 2004, “Hysteria” was ranked at number 464 on “Rolling Stone’s” magazine list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The album was certified 4 x Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”; 10 x Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”; Diamond in US by the “RIIA” and 2 x Platinum in UK by the “BPI”.
