On September 10, 1976, “Utopia” label released “Üdü Ẁüdü”, the sixth Magma studio album. It was recorded May – June 1976, at “Studio de Milan” in Paris, France, and was produced by Giorgio Gomelsky, Christian Vander, Jannick “Janik” Top, Klaus Blasquiz, Stella Vander, Michel Graillier, Patrick Gauthier and Bernard Paganotti.

In 2017, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Blackout” and number 73, on its list of “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums Of All Time”. The album was certified Platinum in US by the “RIAA”.
