On April 1, 2013, “Rough Trade” label released “Machineries of Joy” the fifth British Sea Power album. It was recorded in November 2012 in Brighton.

It was recorded 2018 – 2019, at “Woodshed” in Malibu, “NightBird” in West Hollywood, “Retreat” in Brighton, “Candy Bomber” in Berlin, “Air” in London, and was produced by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
