On january 2, 1997.

On January 2, 1997, Randy Craig Wolfe aka Randy California died aged 45. He was musician (guitar, bass), singer and songwriter, member of the bands Jimmy James and the Blue Flames, Deep Purple, but was best known as the founding member and guitarist of the band Spirit. As leader he released five albums.

On October 19, 1982.

On October 19, 1982, “Beggars Banquet” label released “The Sky’s Gone Out”, the third Bauhaus studio album. It was recorded in 1982, at “Rockfield” in Monmouth Beck, Wellingborough, “BBC Maida Vale” in London, and was produced by Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins.

On March 17, 2017, “Columbia” label released “Spirit”, the 14th Depeche Mode studio album. It was recorded April – August 2016, at “Jungle City Studios” in New York City, “Sound Design” in Santa Barbara, California, and was produced by James Ford. The album was certified Platinum in France “SNEP” and 2 x Platinum in Poland by “ZPAV”.
