On February 7, 2020, “Reprise” label released “Father of All Motherfuckers”, the thirteenth Green Day studio album. It was recorded June – September 2019, and was produced by  Billy Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, Tré Cool, Butch Walker and Chris Dugan.

On February 2, 2020, Ivan Král died aged 71. He was musician (guitar, bass, cello, piano, keyboards), vocalist, singer-songwriter, record producer and filmmaker. His songs were recorded by artists such as Pearl Jam, Patti Smith, U2, Iggy Pop, David Bowie and Simple Minds. He recorded and performed with Patti Smith, Blondie, John Cale, Iggy Pop, Lucie, Jiri Suchy, Aneta Langerová, Miro Zbirka, Pavel Bobek and Debbi. As leader he released 16 albums.

Neil Peart

On January 7, 2020, Neil Ellwood Peart died aged 67. He was musician (drums, percussion), and songwriter, known by the nick name “The Professor”, but was best known as the drummer and the primary lyricist of the band Rush. Magazine “Rolling Stone” placed him at number 4 on its list of the “All Time Greatest Drummers”. In 1983, Peart was inducted into “The Modern Drummer Readers Poll Hall of Fame”, as the youngest person so honored.

Eugene Wright

On December 30, 2020, Eugene Joseph Wright died aged 97. He was musician (bass), worked with Monty Alexander, Charlie Parker, Lee Shaw, Gene Ammons, Count Basie, Billie Holiday, Carmen McRae, Buddy DeFranco, Cal Tjader, Vince Guaraldi, Kai Winding, Sonny Stitt, Dottie Dodgion, and Dorothy Donegan, but was best known as a member and the bass player of the Dave Brubeck Quartet.

Claude Bolling

On December 29, 2020, Claude Bolling died aged 90. He was musician (piano), composer, and arranger. He wrote music for more than one hundred movies, collaborated with classical musicians, but also with musicians from various genres including Alexandre Lagoya, Pinchas Zukerman, Maurice André, and Yo-Yo Ma. Bolling has worked with some of the biggest names in the jazz music including Roy Eldridge, Kenny Clarke. Oscar Peterson, Lionel Hampton, Duke Ellington, Stéphane Grappelli, and Django Reinhardt. As leader he released 24 albums.
