On September 6, 1993, “Go! Discs” label released “Wild Wood”, the second Paul Weller solo album. It was recorded April 1993-May 1993, and was produced by Paul Weller and Brendan Lynch. In 2000 “Q” magazine ranked “Wild Wood” at number 77 on its list of the “100 Greatest British Albums Ever”.

On August 31, 1993, “Creation” label released “Giant Steps”, the third Boo Radleys album. It was recorded February – March 1993, at “First Protocol Studios” in London; and was produced by Martin Carr, Tim Brown and Andy Wilkinson.The album title was inspired by John Coltrane’s album of the same name. “Giant Step” was voted album of the year by “NME” and “Select”.

It was recorded December 1993– April 1994, at “Clear Studios” in Manchester and “The Pink Museum” in Liverpool, and was produced by Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, Tony McCarroll, Mark Coyle, Owen Morris and David Batchelor . In June 2006, “NME” magazine conducted a readers’ poll in which “Definitely Maybe” was voted the greatest album of all time. The album was certified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”; Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in France by “SNEP”; Platinum in Sweden by “GLF”; 7 x Platinum in the UK by the “BPI, and Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”
