On June 29, 2018, “Virgin EMI” label released “High as Hope”, the fourth Florence and the Machine studio album. It was recorded 2017 – 2018, at “Beacon House” in Los Angeles, “123” in London, and was produced by Emile Haynie, Florence Welch, Brett Shaw, Thomas Bartlett, and Tobias Jesso Jr.

On October 30, 2000, “Island” label released “All That You Can’t Leave Behind”, the tenth U2 studio album.  It was recorded 1998 – 2000, at the” HQ”,” Windmill Lane Studios”,”Westland Studios” and“Totally Wired” in Dublin, and was produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno. The album and its songs won seven “Grammy Awards”.  In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “All That You Can’t Leave Behind” at number 280 at its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On May 29, 1997, Jeffrey Scott “Jeff” Buckley died aged 30. Son of Tim Buckley, he was singer-songwriter and musician ( guitar, organ,harmonium, Appalachian dulcimer and bass guitar). In 1994 “Columbia” released his only studio album, the highly acclaimed “Grace”.  Magazine “Rolling Stone” considered Jeff Buckley as one of the greatest singers of all time.
