Studios” in London, and was produced by Chris Thomas and Pete Townshend. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 57, on its list of the “100 Greatest Albums of the 1980s”.

The album was commercial success with sales of 7.1 million copies in the US alone. In 1981, Joel won a “Grammy Award” for “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance”.
