Beth Orton: Central Reservation

On March 9, 1999, “Heavenly Records” label released “Central Reservation”, the second Beth Orton studio album. It was recorded in 1998, at “The Church”, “September Sound”, “RAK”, “Olympic”, “Little Joey’s” and “The Garden Shed”, and was produced by Victor Van Vugt, Ben Watt, Mark Stent, Beth Orton, Dr. Robert and David Roback. The album won Beth Orton the “Best British Female Artist” at the 2000 “BRIT Music Awards”.

On June 16, 1997, “Dedicated” label released “Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space”, the third Spiritualized studio album. It was recorded 1995 – 1997, at “Moles Studio” in Bath, “The Church, Rooster and The Strongroom Studios” in London, “House of Blues” in Memphis, “The Hit Factory” in New York, “A&M Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Jason Pierce and John Coxon.

In July 1972, “Warner Bros” label released “Saint Dominic’s Preview”, the sixth Van Morrison studio album. It was recorded 1971 – 1972, at “Wally Heider Studios”, “Pacific High Studios” in San Francisco, “The Church” in San Anselmo, California,  and was produced by Ted Templeman and Van Morrison.

On November 14, 1983, “RCA” label released “Touch”, the third Eurythmics studio album. It was recorded in 1983. at “The Church” in London, and was produced by David A. Stewart. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 493 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The album was certified Platinum in UK by “BPI”, and Platinum in the US by “RIIA”.

It was recorded May 1989 – January 1990, at “Logic Studios” in Milan, “Pukrecording Studios” in Gjerlev (Denmark), “The Church” and “Master Rock Studios” in London, “Axis” in New York, and was produced by Flood, Dave Gahan, Alan Wilder and Martin Gore. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 342 on its list of the “500 greatest albums of all time” and on number 57 on its list of “100 best albums of the nineties”.
