On May 6, 1985, “Columbia” label released the self-titled, debut Highwayman (The) album. It was recorded in 1984, at “Moman’s Recording” and “Woodland” in Nashville, Tennessee, and was produced by Chips Moman. The album was certified Platinum in Australia by ARIA, and Platinum in US by RIAA.

Powderfinger: Vulture Street

On July 4, 2003, “Universal Music” label released “Vulture Street”, the fifth Powderfinger studio album. It was recorded in 2003, and was produced by Nick DiDia and Tony Reyes. The album won three “ARIA Music Awards”, including “Best Rock Album”, “Album of the Year”, “Best Cover Art”, and Powderfinger won the award for “Best Group”. “Vulture Street” was certified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”.

Midnight Oil: Species Deceases

On November 26, 1985 “CBS” label released “Species Deceases”, the second Midnight Oil EP. It was recorded in September 1985, at “Paradise Studios” in Darlinghurst, Australia, and was produced by Francois Kevorkian, Peter Garrett, Peter Gifford, Rob Hirst, Jim Mogine and Martin Rotsey. “Species Deceases” was certified 2 x Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”, first time on December 14, 1985, only two weeks after its release.
