On April 22, 2013, Richard Pierce Havens aka Richie Havens died aged 72. He was musician (guitar), singer and songwriter, famous for his intense and rhythmic guitar style. Havens released 21 studio and 2 live albums but he is best known for his opening performance at the 1969 “Woodstock Festival”.

On April 7, 2013, Jeremy Andrew “Andy” Johns died aged 61. Peter Banks
On March 7, 2013, Peter William Brockbanks aka Peter Banks died aged 66. He was musician (guitar) and songwriter, member and guitarist of “Yes” and had formed the bands “Flash” and “Empire”. In his career he has worked with “Blodwyn Pig”, Jan Akkerman, Roger Ruskin Spearm, John Wetton, Phil Collins, Steve Hackett and “Zox & the Radar Boys”.
Bruce Springsteen: A MusiCares Tribute to Bruce Springsteen
On March 25, 2014, “Columbia” label released “A MusiCares Tribute to Bruce Springsteen”, a concert video filmed in 2013 at the “MusiCares Person of the Year” ceremony, to honor and pay tribute to Bruce Springsteen for his artistic achievement in the music industry and dedication to philanthropy. The ceremony was hosted by Jon Stewart and features performances by musicians who have long been fans and admirers of Springsteen’s body of work. Springsteen and the E Street Band concluded the ceremony with their own performance. The video is directed by Leon Knoles.
