Blodwyn Pig: Ahead Rings Out

In August 1969, “island” label released “Ahead Rings Out”, the debut Blodwyn Pig album. It was recorded in 1969, at “Morgan Studios” in Willesden, UK, and was produced by Andy Johns.

Blodwyn Pig: Getting to This

In April 1970, “Chrysalis” label released “Getting to This”, the second Blodwyn Pig album. It was recorded in 1970, at “Olympic” and “Trident Studios”, and was produced by Andy Johns.

Andy Johns

On April 7, 2013, Jeremy Andrew “Andy” Johns died aged 61. He was producer and engineer, worked with many musicians and bands, including: Blodwyn Pig, Humble Pie, Gary Wright, Free, Bobby Whitlock- Bobby Whitlock, West, Bruce and Laing, Jack Bruce, String Driven Thing, Television,  Rod Stewart, Ron Wood, Cinderella, McAuley Schenker Group, Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Steve Miller Band, Jethro Tull, The Deviants, Spooky Tooth, Ten Years After, Clouds, Blind Faith, Led Zeppelin,  Rolling Stones, Mott the Hoople, Sailor’s Delight- Sky, Larry Norman, Randy Stonehill, Joni Mitchell and Eric Clapton.

Peter Banks

On March 7, 2013, Peter William Brockbanks aka Peter Banks died aged 66. He was musician (guitar) and songwriter, member and  guitarist of “Yes” and had formed the bands “Flash” and “Empire”. In his career he has worked with Blodwyn Pig”, Jan Akkerman, Roger Ruskin Spearm, John Wetton, Phil Collins, Steve Hackett and “Zox & the Radar Boys”.
