On September 25, 1972, “Vertigo” label released “Vol. 4”, the fourth Black Sabbath studio album. It was recorded May 1972, at “Record Plant” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Patrick Meehan and Black Sabbath. In 1977, the album was certified Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”, and Platinum in the US by the “RIIA” in 1986.

On September 21, 1973, “WWA” label label released “In a Glass House”, the fifth Gentle Giant album. It was recorded in 1973, at “Advison Studios” in London, and was produced by Gentle Giant and Gary Martin.

It was recorded in June 1970, at “Regent Sound Studios” and “Island Studios” in London, and was produced by Rodger Bain. In 1989, Kerrang! magazine listed the album at number 39 on its list of the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time”. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 130 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2006, “Guitar World” magazine ranked “Paranoid” at number 6 on its list of “The Greatest 100 Guitar Albums of All Time. The album was certified Platinum in Canada by CRIA, and Platinum in the US by the “RIIA:.

It was recorded November – December 1978, at “Compass Point Studios” in Nassau, Bahamas, and was produced by Barry Beckett and Jerry Wexler. The album cover was designed by Phonogram’s advertising agency “Grant Advertising” and in 1979 it won album cover of the year in the “NME” awards. “Communiqué” was certified  Platinum in the UK, and 2 x Platinum in France.
