It was recorded 1994 -1995, at “A&M Recording Studios” in Hollywood, “Abbey Road Studios” in London, “Plant Recording Studios” in Sausalito, California, “Kiva Recording Studios” in Memphis. Tennessee, and was produced by Joan Armatrading and David Tickle.

This album consists of new songs and covers of the band’s previous work, re-recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra. It was recorded September 1997 – February 1998, at “Southern Tracks”, “Electric Landlady” and “Tree Sound Studios” in Atlanta, Georgia, “Abbey Road Studios” in London, and was produced by Phil Ehart, Rich Williams and Trammell Starks.

In August 1973, “United Artists” label released “Deliver the Word”, the sixth War album. It was recorded in 1973 at “Crystal Industries” and “Wally Heider Studios” in Los Angeles, “Caribou Studios” in Nederland, Colorado, and was produced by Jerry Goldstein, Lonnie Jordan and Howard Scott. The album design and photo was by Gary Sato.

It was recorded February – December 1985, at “Ashcombe House” in Bath, and was produced by Peter Gabriel and Daniel Lanois. “So” was certified 3 x Platinum in UK by the “BPI’ and 5 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked it at number 187 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
