Criteria: When We Break

On August 23, 2005, “Saddle Creek Records” label released “When We Break”, the second Criteria studio album. It was recorded in 2005, at “C Plus Studio” in Omaha, Nebraska, “Presto! Recording Studios” in Lincoln, Nebraska, and was produced by AJ Mogis.

Robert Moog

On August 21, 2005, Robert Arthur Moog died aged 71. He was an engineer and pioneer of electronic music, founder of “Moog Music”. In 1964, he promoted “Moog synthesizer”, the first commercial synthesizer. In 1970, he invented the “Minimoog”, portable model, regarded as the most famous and influential synthesizer in history.

Goldfrapp: Supernature

On August 17, 2005, “Mute” label released “Supernature”, the third Goldfrapp studio album. It was recorded 2004 – 2005, at “Angel Recording Studios” in London, and was produced by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory.

Little Milton

On August 4, 2005, James Milton Campbell Jr. aka Little Milton died aged 70. He was a singer and musician (guitar), co-founder of Bobbin Records. He started his recording career in 1853 at “Sun Records”, and also recorded for “Checker Records”, “Meteor, “Stax”, “Glades”, “Golden Ear”, “MCA”, and Malaco. Milton recorded 33 albums, and in 1988 was inducted into the “Blues Hall of Fame”.

Reuben Wilson: Fun House

On August 2, 2005, “Savant” label released “Fun House”, the 15th Reuben Wilson album. It was recorded in December 2004, at “Van Gelder Studios” in Englewood, NJ, and was produced by Melvin Sparks.
