On January 14, 1982, “Elektra” label released “Echoes of an Era”, the fifth Chaka Khan album. It was recorded 1981 -1982, at “Mad Hatter Studios”, Los Angeles, and was produced by Lenny White.

On January 14, 1980, “Anthem” label released “Permanent Waves”, the seventh Rush studio album. It was recorded September – October 1979, at “Le Studio” in Morin Heights, Quebec, Canada, and was produced by Terry Brown, Gaddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart.

On January 11, 2003, Michael Norman Finn aka Mickey Finn died aged 55. He was musician (vocals, bongos, congas, drums, bass), performed with Hapshash and the Coloured Coat, The Blow Monkeys and The Soup Dragon, best known as the percussionist and sideman to Marc Bolan in Tyrannosaurus Rex.
