In October 1970, “Beacon” label released “UFO 1”, the debut UFO studio album. It was recorded in July 1970, at “Jackson Studios” in Rickmansworth, Herts, England, and was produced by Guy Fletcher, Doug Flett and Milton Samuel.

Peter Frederick Way

On August 14, 2020. Peter Frederick Way died aged 69. He was musician (bass guitar) and songwriter, founding member of Fastway, and Waysted, member of The Plot, and Michael Schenker Group, performed with Ozzy Osbourne, but was best known as member and bass player of UFO. As leader, he released three albums.

In February 1983, “Chrysalis” label released “Making Contact”, the eleventh UFO studio album. It was recorded August – December 1982, at “The Manor Studio” in Shipton-on-Cherwell, Oxfordshire, “Townhouse Studios”, “White House Studios” and “Maison Rouge Studios” in London, and was produced by Mick Glossop.
