In November 1966, “Spin” label released “Spicks and Specks”, the second  Bee Gees (The) studio album. It was recorded April – June 1966, at “St. Clair Studios” in Hurstville, and was produced by Nat Kipner.

In February 1968, “Polydor” label released “Horizontal”, the fourth Bee Gees studio album. It was recorded July – November 1967, at “Central Sound Studios”, “Chappell Studios” and “IBC Studios” in London, and was produced by Robert Stigwood, Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb.

Robin Gibb

On May 20, 2012, Robin Hugh Gibb died aged 62.  He was singer, songwriter and record producer, best known as a member of the Bee Gees. With more than 200 million albums sold worldwide, Bee Gees are one of the most successful groups of all time. From 2008 to 2011, Gibb was President of the “Heritage Foundation”, honouring figures in British culture.
