On September 19, 1970, “Reprise” label released “After the Gold Rush”, the third Neil Young studio album. It was recorded 1969 – June 1970, at “Sunset Sound” in Hollywood; “Sound City”; “Van Nuys” in Los Angeles, and “Redwood Studios” in Topanga, California, and was produced by Neil Young, David Briggs and Kendall Pacios. In 1998, “Q”  magazine readers voted “After the Gold Rush” the 89th greatest album of all time. In 2003, Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 71 on its list of the “500 Greatest Album of All Time”. In 2003, “NME” magazine ranked “After the Gold Rush” at number 80 of the list of the “Greatest Albums of All Time. In 1986, the album was certified 2 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”, and 2 x Platinum in UK by the “BPI” in 2004.

On July 30, 2002, “Columbia” label released “The Rising”, the twelfth Bruce Springsteen studio album. It was recorded January – March 2002, and was produced by Brendan O’Brien. “The Rising” won “Grammy Award” for “Best Rock Album” in 2003.

It was recorded March 1970, December 1972, August–September 1973, at “Studio Instrument Rentals” in Hollywood, “Fillmore East” in New York City, “Broken Arrow Ranch”, and was produced by David Briggs , Neil Young, Tim Mulligan and Elliot Mazer. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” label ranked “Tonight’s the Night” at number 331on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On October 9, 1987, “Columbia” label released “Tunnel of Love”, the eighth Bruce Springsteen studio album.  It was recorded January – July 1987, and was produced by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Landau and Chuck Plotkin. in 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked it at number 467 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

Nils Lofgren: Face the Music

On August 5, 2014, “Fantasy” label released “Nils Lofgren: Face the Music”,  nine CD / DVD box set that provides a biography of Lofgren, with each disc telling a different chapter. The first disc are the Grinyears (1971-1973),  the second disc is the beginning of his solo career (1975-1977),  the third disc chronicles his collaborations with Lou Reed and Bob Ezrin (1979-1983), the fourth disc four starts with the story in 1985 and continues with 1991’s Silver Lining and 1992’s Crooked Line, the next three discs are his independent and self-released recordings made between 1993 and 2011, and the last two discs offer rarities from various years of his career
