On November 21, 1995, “Columbia” label released “The Ghost of Tom Joad”, the eleventh Bruce Springsteen studio album. It was recorded March–September 1995, at “Thrill Hill West”, Springsteen’s home studio in Los Angeles, and was produced by Bruce Springsteen and Chuck Plotkin. In 1997, the album won “Grammy Award” for “Best Contemporary Folk Album”.

On September 11, 1973, “Columbia” label released “The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle”, the second Bruce Springsteen studio album. Springsteen recorded the album with The E Street Band in May – September 1973, at “914 Sound Studios” in Blauvelt, New York, and was produced by Mike Appel and Jim Cretecos.

On July 30, 2002, “Columbia” label released “The Rising”, the twelfth Bruce Springsteen studio album. It was recorded January – March 2002, and was produced by Brendan O’Brien. “The Rising” won “Grammy Award” for “Best Rock Album” in 2003.

darkness on the edge

On June 2, 1978, “Columbia” label released “Darkness on the Edge of Town”, the fourth Bruce Springsteen studio album. It was recorded October 1977 – March 1978, at “Record Plant Studios” in New York, and was produced by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Landau, and Steven Van Zandt.

In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Darkness on the Edge of Town” at number 151 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”. The album was certified 3 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA’.
