In November 1979.

In November 1979, “Zoom” label released “Real to Real Cacophony”, the second Simple Minds studio album. It was recorded in September 1979, at “Rockfield Studios” in Monmouth, Wales, and was produced by John Leckie.

On October 21, 1985, “Virgin” label released “Once Upon a Time”, the seventh Simple Minds studio album. It was recorded May 1985 at “The Town House”, in London, and was produced by Jimmy Iovine and Bob Clearmountain.

On September 13, 1982, “A&M” label released “New Gold Dream, the fifth Simple Minds studio album. It was recorded in 1982, and was produced by Peter Walsh. “New Gold Dream” was a turning point for the band as it gained critical and commercial success both in the UK and Europe.
