On May 8, 1989, “A&M” label released “Street Fighting Years”, the eighth Simple Minds album. It was recorded March 1988 – March 1989, and was produced by Trevor Horn and Stephen Lipson.

New gold dream

On September 13, 1982, “A&M” label released “New Gold Dream, the fifth Simple Minds studio album. It was recorded in 1982, and was produced by Peter Walsh. “New Gold Dream” was a turning point for the band as it gained critical and commercial success both in the UK and Europe.
