In November 1979.

In November 1979, “Zoom” label released “Real to Real Cacophony”, the second Simple Minds studio album. It was recorded in September 1979, at “Rockfield Studios” in Monmouth, Wales, and was produced by John Leckie.

In August 1981.

In August 1981, “Virgin” label released “Sons and Fascination/Sister Feelings Call”, the fourth Simple Minds album. It was recorded in 1981, and was produced by Steve Hillage. “Sons and Fascination”  and “Sister Feelings Call” were two separate albums, assembled from the same sessions and released at the same time and, in some instances, sold as a double-LP set.

On May 20, 2013, “Blitz Club” label released “Hearts and Knives”, the fourth Visage studio album. It was recorded 2012-2013, and was produced by John Bryan and Sare Havlicek. “Hearts and Knives” was the band’s first album of new material in 29 years.

Simple_minds-Sparkle in the Rain

On February 6, 1984, “Virgin” label released “Sparkle in the Rain”, the sixth Simple Minds studio album. It was recorded September – October 1983, at “Monnow Valley Studio” in Rockfield, and “The Town House” in London, and was produced by Steve Lillywhite. The album was certified 2 x Platinum in the UK by the “BPI.
