On June 6, 1969, “DJM” label released “Empty Sky”, the debut Elton John studio album. It was recorded December 1968 – April 1969, at “Dick James Music Studios” in London, and was produced by Steve Brown.

On June 4, 1965, “Parlaphone” label released “Beatles for Sale (No 2)”, an EP  by the Beatles. It was recorded in 1964, at “EMI Studios” in London, and was produced by George Martin. It was released only in mono.

It was recorded 1983 – 1985, at “AIR Studios”, “Sarm West Studios” in London, “Compass Point Studios” in New Providence, The Bahamas, “Effanel Mobile”, “RPM Studios”, “The Power Station” in New York, “The White House”in New South Wales,Australia, and was produced by Bryan Ferry and Rhett Davies. “Boys and Girls” was certified Platinum in UK by the “BPI”.

Exodus

On June 3, 1977, “Island” label released “Exodus”, the ninth Bob Marley and the Wailers studio album. It was recorded 1976 – 1977, at “Harry J. Studio” in Kingston, and “Island Studios” in London, and was produced by  Bob Marley and the Wailers. In 1999,  “Time”  magazine named “Exodus” the best album of the 20th century. In 2001, the TV network “VH1” named it the 26th greatest album of all time. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 169 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.

It was recorded October 1969 – April 1970, at “IBC Studios”, “De Lane Lea Studios” and “Abbey Road Studios” in London, and was produced by Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Roger Glover and Ian Gillan. In 2005, “Classic Rock” magazine  awarded “In Rock”, with the “Classic Rock and Roll of Honor Award” in the category “Classic Album”.

On June 2, 1986, “EMI” label released “A Kind of Magic”, the twelfth  Queen studio album. It was recorded September 1985 – April 1986, at “Musicland Studios” in Munich, “Mountain Studios” in Montreux and “Townhouse Studios” in London, and was produced by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, Roger Taylor,  Mack and David Richards. The album is based on the soundtrack of the movie “Highlander”, directed by Russell Mulcahy. In the 1994 edition of “The Guinness All Time Top 1000 Albums” the album was ranked at number 171 in its “All-time Greatest Rock and Pop Albums”.

The Eagles

On June 1, 1972, “Asylum” label released the self-titled, debut Eagles album. It was recorded in February 1972, at “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by Glyn Johns. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 368 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The single “Take It Easy” is part of the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” of the “500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll”. In March 2001, the album was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.
