On June 23, 1967, “immediate Records” label released the self-titled, second Small Faces album. It was recorded October 1966 – April 1967, at “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane.

It was recorded in April 1968, at “Decca Studios”  in London, and was produced by Mike Vernon and John Mayall. “Bare Wires” was the last John Mayall studio album to feature the name “Bluesbreakers”.
