On July 30, 1984, “Atlantic” label released “Right By You”, the sixth Stephen Stills studio album. It was recorded in 1984, and was produced by Stephen Stills, Ron Albert and Howard Albert. The album was dedicated to Felix Pappalardi, Marvin Gaye, Dennis Wilson and JC Agajanian.

In July 1977, “RCA” label released “Moody Blue”, the final Elvis Presley studio album. It was recorded February – October 1976, April 1977, and was produced by Felton Jarvis, Chick Crumpacker and Don Wardell. The album was a mixture of live and studio work, and included the four tracks from Presley’s final studio recording sessions in October 1976 and two tracks left over from the previous Graceland session in February 1976. The album was certified 2 x Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”, and 2 x Platinum in US by “RIIA”.

The Doors - LA Woman

On April 19, 1971, “Elektra” label released “L.A. Woman”, the sixth Doors studio album.  It was recorded December 1970 – January 1971, at “The Doors Workshop” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Bruce Botnick, Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore. This was band’s last album to feature Jim Morrison, who died three months after the album’s release. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “L.A. Woman” at number 364 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
