On October 25, 1993, “Essential Records” label released “It Is the Business of the Future to Be Dangerous”, the eighteenth Hawkwind studio album. It was recorded in 1993, at “Barking Dog Studios” in Devon, England, and was produced by Dave Brock, Alan Davey, Richard Chadwick, and Paul Cobbold.

It was recorded September 1977 – June 1978, at “Leicester”, “De Montfort Hall”, “Hammersmith Odeon” in London, “Rockfield Studios” and “Week Park Farm” in Devon, and was produced by Robert Calver, Dave Brock, Adrian Shaw, Simon House, and Simon King.

Ginger Baker

On October 6, 2019, Peter Edward “Ginger” Baker died aged 80. He was musician (drums, percussion) and song writer, credited as pioneer of drumming in rock, jazz fusion and world music, with reputation of “rock’s first superstar drummer”. Baker was member of the bands Blues Incorporated and Graham Bond Organisation, but he achieved worldwide success as co-founder and drummer of super group Cream, together with Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce. After Cream he was member of Blind Faith and founded Ginger Baker’s Air Force and Ginger Baker’s Energy. He has worked with big number of musicians and music acts such as Gary Moore, Masters of Reality, Public Image Ltd, Hawkwind, Atomic Rooster, Bill Laswell, Charlie Haden and Bill Frisell. As leader Baker released 18 albums.

Hawkwind: Levitation

On October 27, 1980, “Bronze” label released “Levitation”, the tenth Hawkwind studio album. It was recorded July – August 1980, at “Roundhouse Studios” in London, and was produced by Ashley Howe, Dave Brock, Huw Lloyd-Langton, Harvey Bainbridge, Tim Blake and Ginger Baker.

The studio side was recorded in 1998, at “Earth Studios”, and the live one was recorded in November 1997, at “Ancienne Belgique”,in  Brussels, Belgium, and was produced by  Dave Brock, Jerry Richards, Ron Tree and Richard Chadwick.
