Elvis Presley: Moody Blue

In July 1977, “RCA” label released “Moody Blue”, the final Elvis Presley studio album. It was recorded February – October 1976, April 1977, and was produced by Felton Jarvis, Chick Crumpacker and Don Wardell. The album was a mixture of live and studio work, and included the four tracks from Presley’s final studio recording sessions in October 1976 and two tracks left over from the previous Graceland session in February 1976. The album was certified 2 x Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”, and 2 x Platinum in US by “RIIA”.

In June 1972, “Vertigo” label released “666”, the third and the final Aphrodite’s Child album. It was recorded 1970 – 1971, at “Studio Europa Sonor” in Paris, and was produced by Vangelis Papathanassiou. The album cover art was by Gerard Fallec.

On June 15, 2007, “Third Man” label released “Icky Thump”, the sixth and  final  White Stripes album. It was recorded in February 2007, at “Blackbird Studio” in Nashville, and was produced by Jack White. In February 2008, “Icky Thump” won “Grammy Awards” for “Best Alternative Music Album”, and “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal”.

It was recorded August 2012-January 2013, at “Shangri La Studios” in Malibu, California, “Tone Hall” in Lapworth, Warwickshire, UK, and was produced by Rick Rubin. The album was certified Platinum in Brazil by “Pro-Musica Brazil”, Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada” and Platinum in Poland by “ZPAV”.
